This Is How Much Quora Paid Me For A Question With 4,000,000+ Views

Quora is a social question-and-answer website that was visited by 300 million users a month (as of 2020).

I joined back in 2019 and forget the exact reason as to why I joined in the first place, but it was never with the intention of making money. I ended up joining the Quora Partner Program after receiving an email invite and I accepted it without really knowing what it entailed. In short, it was a way to share ad revenue with certain content creators.

Using past tense as the program will be discontinued in the following months.

My most viral question is a question I never expected to go viral. It was essentially an ask for help about how to handle a workplace dilemma I had going on at the time.

Although the question has almost 5,000,000 views, the payout was not as high as expected. I received $48.92

One of the reasons the payout was lower has to do with where the views came from. In the section below you can see 97% was internal and 3% was external.

SSRS: How to Hide Text Boxes When Exporting to Excel

SSRS content in 2022? I know, but here we are! A client of mine had made a request to have the columns hidden only when exporting to Excel. Output Example The solution to this I found was simple: Select the textbox and right-click “Textbox Properties” Click on the “Visibility” tab Toggle on the radio button “Expression” and either paste the expression ( =IIF(Globals!RenderFormat.Name = “EXCELOPENXML” OR Globals!RenderFormat.Name = “EXCEL”,true, false ) in the formula bar Click “Ok”

How to Transition From Gmail's Less Secure Apps Setting

Google has gotten rid of the Less Secure Apps feature.  I realized this as I was debugging an old Python script I had written and an error was returned relating to the email section.  The first debugging step was to check if I was entering the wrong password. Once I established that was not the case I went to go check this setting and saw a message similar to the above.  At this point, it seemed like an urgh moment since I did not expect the switch to be so easy! How to Switch From Less Secure Apps  Turn on 2-Step Verification  Create an App password → Select app → Other (Custom name) → Generate  Replace old password in script with the 16-character password generated

SSRS: How to Use IIF and Lookup Functions Together

IIF & LOOKUP Functions The  IIF  function returns one of two values depending on whether the expression is true or not Use  Lookup  to retrieve the value from the specified dataset for a name/value pair where there is a 1-to-1 relationship. For example, for an ID field in a table, you can use Lookup to retrieve the corresponding Name field from a dataset that is not bound to the data region. IIF Example =IIf(Fields!ColumnExample.Value = 1,Fields!ColumnValueIfTrue.Value,Fields!ColumnValueIfOther.Value) LOOKUP Example =Lookup(Fields!ColumnMatchTableA.Value,Fields!ColumnMatchTableB.Value,Fields!ColumnContainingValueDesired.Value,"DatasetName") IIF & LOOKUP Example =IIf(Lookup(Fields!ColumnMatchTableA.Value,Fields!ColumnMatchTableB.Value,Fields!ColumnContainingValueDesired.Value,"DatasetName") = 1, Fields!ColumnValueIfTrue.Value,Fields!ColumnValueIfOther.Value)
